I’m Julia Pylak - landscape and outdoor professional photographer based in Denmark. I am mountain and extreme sports lover, successfully implementing "The Crown of Europe" project - summiting the highest peaks of each European country. My passion to travel has led me to many remote places around the world, but my heart is especially drawn to the Nordic regions and off the beaten track places, where the environment is raw, wild and still untouched. And these are the views that dominate in my photos.

It is the beauty of nature that inspires me the most, and photographing landscapes has become my passion! The camera is the tool to capture the scene, but it doesn’t know what you feel at that moment or what you want to convey with the photo. It’s the eye that sees, the heart that feels and the brain that interprets and creates the final image. It is that image that I try to reproduce when editing my photos and developing my portfolio.

My work mainly focuses on the landscape/outdoor/adventure and lifestyle photos connected to travels. My photos are a mix of high quality photos from the ground and drone shots taken with permits.

With my photos I hope to motivate people to leave their comfort zone, explore new places, and experience different cultures. Maybe then, when we all see how beautiful but fragile our planet really is, we will accelerate our fight to protect our most precious resource, nature.
